We made the Team Marin to be lightning-fast, super composed in the rough-and-tumble of spicy singletrack and perfectly in control up, along and down. It packs all the roll-up-your-sleeves tough of a trail bike and the zip you’d expect from an XC racer to perfectly blend speed with fun. Because who said XC had to be so serious?! Champagne dreams on a cola budget. The Team Marin 1 brings XC-racer performance to a privateer price-point, all whilst staying super fun and super capable in the singletrack. We started with a high-end Series 4 aluminum frame and fast-rolling 29” wheels and then added a capable RockShox Judy Silver fork, 12-speed Shimano drivetrain, Shimano hydraulic brakes and Vee Tire rubber to create a super fun, super affordable XC trail shredder.

Top of the Team Marin tree, the Team Marin 2 is fast enough for the podium of your next XC race, without losing any of its teeth on the trails. We started with a high-end Series 4 aluminum frame and fast-rolling 29” wheels and then added a Fox 34 StepCast fork, a Shimano XT/SLX drivetrain, TRP G-spec brakes, and Maxxis Rekon Race rubber to create a super fun, super capable and super speedy XC trail ripper.

The foundation for the Alcatraz build of your dreams. The Series 3 aluminum frame is built for the hard knocks and is stiff enough for lightning-fast acceleration and tough enough for the heavy hits. Short stays keep manuals easy and ambidextrous cable routing means you can run your brake on the left or right of the bars. The Main Alcatraz frame kit comes supplied with an FSA headset, Marin chain tension device and Marin seat clamp. Available in two frame sizes, regular and long.

The Marin Nicasio+ is our Nic’ with a modern twist, switching in big-volume 47mm rubber, 650b wheels and a sleek and straightforward 1X drivetrain. We also specced a microSHIFT Sword Black 1x9 drivetrain, powerful Tektro mechanical discs and plenty of Marin components. Those WTB Horizon 650Bx47mm tires not only provide a cloud-like ride, but also look super dreamy with tan sidewalls.

The most affordable model in the family, the Nicasio 1 is built around a smooth-riding and stylish Steezy double-butted CrMo frame and fork and zippy 700C wheels, with room for up to 45mm tires. We’ve specced a 2x8-speed Shimano Claris drivetrain, wide WTB rubber, powerful Tektro mechanical discs and plenty of Marin components.

The Marin DSX is everything we want from a modern, flat-bar gravel bike. Zippy aluminum frames, carbon forks, heaps of tire clearance, low standover, dropper post compatibility, and a whole load of options for bags and fenders. Based around the Gestalt X drop-bar, we made the DSX to feel like an MTB but still cut it on all of those adventures that would normally demand curly bars. The top offering in the DSX rigid fork lineup, the new addition to the line is built around the same Series 3 frames and carbon fork as the DSX 2, but with SRAM's wide-range Apex 1 x 12-speed drivetrain and DB-300 hydraulic disc brakes and Vee Tire's Rocketman tires, which offer a bit more bite. The Larkspur E is ideally suited to a wide range of cycling endeavors, from fire road cruising to neighborhood exploring, errands, commuting, and beyond. The Larkspur E's Bosch Active Line Plus drive unit offers a range of 25-93 miles (40-150km), depending on rider weight, terrain, climate, and level of assistance used, and can recharge in about four hours. The top assisted speed is 20MPH in the US and New Zealand and 25 km/h in other global markets, and the different modes are selected via the controller with a clean integrated display next to the left grip.
